Ingredients:
7 pineapple rings
13 marchino cherries
2/3 cup light brown sugar ( packed)
5 Tbsp melted butter
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1/4 Tsp Salt
1 1/2 Tsp Baking powder
1/2 cup room temperature butter
3/4 cup granulated sugar
2 large room temperature eggs
mix 1 at a time
1/2 cup milk (room temperature)
3 Tbsp sour cream
1 1/2 Tsp Vanilla extract

Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 F
Bake time: 40-45 minutes
Put 1 1/2 cups flour into a container

Mix 1/4 tsp salt
Mix 1 1/2 tsp baking powder into the flour
Set aside
Pour 5 Tbsp of melted butter into a round cake pan
Spread 2/3 cup packed brown sugar over top of melted butter evenly

Place 7 pineapple rings on top of melted butter sugar mixture
Place marchino cherries in the holes of pineapple and around the edges
Set aside

Put 1/2 cup room temperature butter into a container
Put 3/4 cups sugar into the same container
Mix it together with a hand mixer until well combined
Beat 1 egg into the sugar butter mixture
Beat the 2 nd egg into the mixture
Mix 1 1/2 tsp of vanilla extract into the wet ingredients
Take a spatula & mix the 1/2 cup of milk, dry ingredients, and 3 Tbsp of Sour cream alternatively into the wet ingredients until nothing is left
Pour cake batter into the pan with the pineapples & cherries
Bake at 350 F for 40-45 minutes

At 30 minutes check to see if the cake is already golden brown, if so, cover loosely with foil & continue baking for the remainder of time, This will help prevent the cake from getting too dark on the edges.
Take cake out
Take a knife and dislodge and edges stuck to the side of cake pan
Let the cake sit for 10 minutes
Place cake stand or plate over the cake pan
Take your oven mitts
Flip the cake right-side up
Let it cook for another 10 minutes
Cut, Serve & Enjoy
