What is my obsession with watching large amounts of food being cooked? I'm a sucker for videos like this.
Paula VEAL??????????
I was NAVY and The food was probably the BEST thing about boot camp!! Unfortunately my military Career was cut short because I broke my L4,L5,S1 and was medically discharged from boot camp!! BUT I still got my azz on the bus, and proudly put on The United States NAVY uniform!!! Thank you for your Service, TO everyone that keeps us fed, safe, and Proud 🙏🏼💞💯🧡💛💚💙💜🤎🖤🤍❤️🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🫱🏼🫲🏽
Across the border from Iraq in Kuwait, there was an American camp with a cookhouse that we, as British troops were entitled to eat in. I must say, the food was excellent and there was loads of it.
I was in the Canadian military. I thought our kitchens were huge. The planning can be difficult at times as you can only estimate who wants chicken or beef but most of the time they get it pretty close. Logistically ordering food can be fun. I was part of the logistical team that ordered food for a major exercise in 1995 . I believe it was Venom Strike. at CFB Gagetown We had to order for about12,000 troops both US and Canadian. However, the food was distributed to various garrison kitchens and field kitchens. Once in a while to make it easy we had MREs
They should change the menu to vegan to save money and make them more physically and mentally fit
Nice to such such dedicated people caring for our most dedicated soldiers. Don't ever forget how important these folks are
The DFAC at my deployed locations were the most important facilities on base. After a mission, usually a 14 hour day, all we could think about was eating, talking a shower and sleep. The DFAC did a great job. I would tell them thank you everytime I went in.
very american
As my grandfather always said to me while teaching me how to cook for hungry soldiers, sailors, marines, and pilots:
“You maybe the elite, but without me you’ll never get to eat.”
As a vet with some good memories from the time I spent at the chow hall with friends and co workers thank you to all the food service workers that make these meals.
Remember Daniel Penny. Is he innocent or guilty? The Marine Veteran who killed a homeless man on the NY subway.
SAN ANTONIO…where I did my A.I. T. after basic. Beautiful place !!!
This is debatable. King Hall at the U.S. Naval Academy feeds 4,500 Midshipmen and guests/faculty thrice daily. So that's 13,500 meals a day. And they also take about 90 minutes to prepare every meal. More likely three hours per meal, since there is cleanup between meals. And King Hall does this 7 days a week. I vouch for this as a graduate of USNA.
Alot of tax dollars
I don't care what it costs. Feed our soldiers. ❤😂
That will neccessitate a lot of toilet paper.
Good job guys army iraq

Seed oils in marinara
I served in the Army from 2005 to 2013. I always enjoyed the food served to us by the civilian contractors. The food was always good and the staff were always friendly. These individuals do a great service to our country and should get more recognition. As you can see from this video they all take great pride in their work and it shows .
Heroes
Keep our military well fed and comfortable ❤they are fighting for our freedom and our country ❤UNLIKE THE MIGRANTS ………GOOD BLESS AMERICA
I am sure the first billion spent on the military goes just to food lol.
But why have bad choices if you want to encourage better eating?
They are in the military, force the good food and do not make the bad stuff.
The Unsong Heroes ❤
😋👍🏼
Think about all the trash that’s generated, plastic containers for cakes, plastic wrap, there has to be a better way
Thank y’all for your service 🙏🏽❤️
And to these amazing chef heroes thank you for your service too !
just imagine the school lunches in US can be good and healthy but you know its US and they spend it for the army. lol
Ohne Mampf, kein Kampf.
Are these civilians or military people working in the kitchen. With so many people I bet the food taste bland due to allergies restriction.
In india our gov dont even try to serve them
They shouldn't have to "eat quickly". Thats not healthy.
En Todos los empleos asi deberia de Ser!!! O No?? 😡😠
Y porque les dan alimentos a las Fuerzas del Gobierno ?? Y a la Gente Trabajadora no hacen lo mismo?? No se lo merecen Gratis También 🤣😢 Y Quien Paga Todo estos Alimentos???
