Here is my low calorie pancake recipe 😀 This does contain bananas! I know some people don’t like the taste or banana pancakes, but I grew up on them so I adore them 🙂

    Ingredients:
    – 1 cup (120g) unbleached all purpose flour
    – 1 teaspoon (6g) baking powder
    – Pinch of salt
    – 1 teaspoon vanilla
    – 0.5 cup (120g) egg whites
    – 1 teaspoon vanilla
    – 200g of ripe banana (approx 2 medium)
    – 0.5 cup (120g) unsweetened almond milk

These ingredients yield 8 pancakes at 175 calories per 2 as long as you use 1/4 cup! Today I didn’t use 1/4 cup so I ended up eating 3 smaller ones for 175cals 😀

    Method:
    – Mix all dry ingredients
    – Mash banana, mixing in egg whites, almond milk, and vanilla after they become a jammy consistency
    – Pour dry ingredients into wet, folding them together with a spatula only a few times so as to not over mix!
    – Turn your stove to low heat & grab a non stick frying pan
    – Using a 1/4 measuring cup, scoop batter into a pan sprayed lightly with oil
    – Let the pancakes cook on low until the tops are covered in bubbles, then flip and let cook for 2-3 more minutes!

If you use alternate flour/milk, it will change the calories & macros, which are:
    – 34g carbs
    – 1g fat
    – 8g protein
    – 5.9g sugar

Enjoy!! These are fluffy and delicious, and perfectly sweet. My favourite add ons are sugar free syrup, I use Steeve’s which has 0 calories and is delicious! Walden Farms also has a 0 calorie syrup which I’ve heard is quite good. I also like adding berries, either blueberries or raspberries and heating them up from frozen to create a compote. Today I also added greek yogurt on top which added both volume and flavour, and was delicious!
