My husband likes smaller sandwiches so I just split the loaf in half and baked in the oven so it’s smaller for him ♥️

For my sandwich bread, I add a little extra gluten to make it rise higher. The I can cut it in half horizontally before slicing. This results in a slightly smaller slice that is easier for the kids to handle.

The threads and tearing on the sides says it’s a little underproofed but otherwise looks great. Try shokupan next if you’re feeling adventurous, it doesnt require a stand mixer contrary to the recipe, but it does make it easier. The Korean side of youtube has a LOT of excellent recipes for loafs as well.
Also I cant reccomend enough, follow the shaping instructions on the recipe below for dinner rolls, loafs, everything. It makes a world of difference in the oven spring and soft fluffy interior.
