Stanley Tucci joined Nick and Angela and they talk about a delicious no sauce pasta recipe.
Stanley is an award-winning actor and filmmaker. Nominated for an Oscar, Golden Globe, and BAFTA for The Lovely Bones (2009). The list of his outstanding performances is endless, The Hunger Games, Burlesque, The Devil Wears Prada and Julie & Julia, alongside the inimitable Meryl Streep.
Stanley’s success is not limited to the big screen either as he has won an Emmy for his TV show Stanley Tucci: Searching for Italy and recently starred in Inside Man on the BBC with David Tennant. His next role is as Clive Davis in the up-coming Whitney Houston biopic, I Wanna Dance with Somebody which is out at Christmas.
In this episode, Nick nervously serves Stanley a negroni and Angela prepares one of his favourite meals, spaghetti alle vongole, with clams, chilli, garlic, parsley and crispy pangritata (toasted breadcrumbs). Stanley is a man of taste, he talks Italian cooking with Angela, the importance of a leather shoe with Nick and casually drops names like Ryan Reynolds, Cher and Judi Dench into conversation.
Stanley Tucci is the epitome of a dream dinner party guest.

I'm from Buenos Aires (so, italo-american) and when she said "chilli" my first thought was "we don't use that, I'm gonna put paprika instead". Glad to see his dad felt the same way.
Florence Pugh needs to come on here
They need more shows like this. The world is so toxic at the moment and food would bring us all together
I would pay insane amounts of money; I would do ANYTHING to have the long video format for this podcast posted anywhere. The only subscription I would genuinely consider having.
Do you think you're elite? you know nothing about Italy and its local cuisine
I love aglio e olio, toasted thinly sliced garlic is amazing I could eat them like banana chips
so simple so delicious simple delicious simple simple simple
Love Stanley Tucci
Tucci!!!!!!
Where can i watch video version of this????🥺🥺🥺
I adore him! Love the bead bracelet.
I just stumbled across your channel and I'm subscribing. I love the atmosphere, friendship, and of course hearing about the ingredients and watching her cook and prepare with love.
It's fried noodles with garlic and red peppers….so overrated.
You missed little pieces of 1 fresh chopped tomato in it. So Olive Oil, chopped parsley, slices of garlic, salt and pepper. aglio e olio a la my boyfriend by that time, a calabrian chef. 😊
Spaghetti and butter tastes great to some people also. It’s mostly the taste and texture of the dough. Same as bread. Or rice. Or potato. All starch.
His poor mom cooks all week and he praises the easiest/laziest dish ever
I love it and make it all the time…
Paprika!!
❤ Bouno! Love Mr S Tucci. ❤😊
Cooked or raw garlic?
I'm assuming you fry the garlic in the olive oil but could be wrong😊
Paprika??? Get out
STANLEY TUCCI MY BELOVED
Nick Grimshaw does not need to be here 😂

TUCCIIIII ❤❤❤❤❤❤
Where can I see the whole video?
I make this with parm and toasted bread crumbs on top
My favourite either! 😍
He seems incredibly pretentious and performative
Alho e óleo
His daughter is a Swiftie
Favourite (and most underrated) Italian dish has to be Vitello Tonnato
when Novie gets older Nov would be such a great nick name!
I’m afraid that my favourite meal is waaay more 1970s. Gammon egg and chips with pineapple rings, red sauce and, nowadays, green beans to make it healthy! Followed by orange flan and squirty cream (sometimes with a blob of icecream on top for fanciness).. low rent but still heaven on a couple of plates
