For the Shrimp Cheung Fun:
6 pieces dumpling wrappers
2 tablespoons oil
1 pound deveined shrimp
Pinch of salt
Pinch of white pepper
1 tablespoon sesame oil
For the sauce:
4 tablespoons hot water
1 tablespoon sugar
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1 tablespoon dark soy sauce
1 teaspoon sesame oil

another wrapper and brush oil over
it repeat with the remaining
wrappers
use a rolling pin and roll the wrappers
into about 6 to 8 in in
diameter add some shrimp in the
center fold the bottom
up and fold the top down
and repeat with the
rest transfer the champin on a steamer
rack and a large pot over high heat
bring water to a boil and place the
seamer rack over the pot cover the lid
steam over high heat for 5 minutes until
completely cooked
through carefully
remove and the bow add the hot
water and
sugar whisk and dessert pour in the soy
sauce dark soy sauce and sesame oil mix

Hi CiCi! Thank you for sharing this easy recipe. I have already cooked shrimp on hand. I don't have fresh dumpling wrappers but do have Vietnamese spring roll wrappers. After wrapping the cooked shrimp in these wrappers, how long should I steam them? I think it would be a couple of minutes.
