INGREDIENTS:
Medium sized mozzarella balls (also known as bocconcini)
2 eggs
Bowl of fresh breadcrumbs (packet bought are also fine but fresh is always more delicious!)
Bowl of plain flour
Table salt
Vegetable oil for frying

METHOD:
1. Crack 2 eggs in your mixing bowl, add a pinch of salt and beat together using a fork.
2. Drop one of the small balls of mozzarella into the bowl of flour and roll it around coating it well.
3. Dip the ball into the egg mix (covering it well) and then drop it into the bowl with the breadcrumbs, rolling it around so that the crumbs stick to it.
4. Dip it into the egg mix one more time and coat it with breadcrumbs again.
5. Pour vegetable oil in a small deep pot or pan and put it on the stove at a medium-high heat.
6. Drop each ball of cheese into the oil and let it fry for a minute or until it becomes golden brown in colour.

HOW TO SERVE
1. These divine fried cheese balls can be served on a bed of lettuce or on a wooden chopping board mixed with cold meats and cheese…
2. And be sure to serve these up hot so that the cheese oozes out with every bite!

making something very easy when you have
an ative you have a drink with your
friends or you need a very quick
snack fried mozzarel mozzarella which a
very small mozzarella all you need to
make fried the mozzarella you need
mozzarella one per person but a small
one they bigger than bini you need bread
crumbs need plain flour two eggs and
table salt now you break two

salt mix it
well then what we’re going to do we’re
going to get one
bino then we put one in the flour so it
becomes nice and dry
eggs from there make sure the eggs goes
everywhere and then you put the bread on
top yeah you one you’re right always
with one end so the other end is
clean go back in the egg so you get
every corner is wet go back in there
and and it’s fried then you fry
it with a clean end okay you put it
there make sure you always go in the egg
twice so you make sure every corner is
actually uh sealed with the
egg otherwise when you cook it you get
the water in the fry oil and you don’t
want that because the oil doesn’t like
water now to test if the oil is ready
you basically put the toothpick inside
and see see what happen there see what
happened there it’s basically uh it’s
bubbling see the bubbling it means that
you can fry now that’s a good
oldfashioned way to test if you can fry
or not now we can fry them put one at a
time put the second
one now they’re ready to
be placed on a nice uh kitchen paper so
they can get rid of the
oil this beautiful mozar FR or already
they’re now ready so I would recommend

  1. Can you make fried Mash Potato?  I used the potato flakes and replace some of the water with eggs & milk.  Use less water to keep it thicker.  Add salt, pepper, granulated onion and garlic.  Mix.  Scoop with ice cream scoop and deep fry until golden brown.  Delicioso!

  6. I have always been wondering what fresh mozzarella taste like. The elasticity, the color and texture is just so different from the store packed mozzarella. It's just sad fresh mozzarella isn't easily available here;(
