I made a reservation on Open Table a couple months back for today. I didn’t get my hopes up because I heard reservations were being canceled as the date approached, so I assumed the same would happen to me, but it just so happened that today, April 17 was the first official re-opening day!
I just left the restaurant and I can attest the food is just as good as before – it did not disappoint, especially the tomato burrata. The menu is almost exactly the same except they’ve added the squash blossoms as a permanent menu item instead of seasonal, and they have a new salad (Asian pear and endive). I’ve already booked another reservation, I need more of that burrata!

Did they announce anything about it reopening? Just curious how you knew it would be open when you arrived – we have reservations for Sunday we made on a whim so glad to hear it!
Awesome! We’ve always wanted to eat there so thanks for the notice
Why did it close? I’ve only eaten there once before. Was it Covid?
This place was good in the first few months after opening, then dropped off fast.
Bro they need to close again with that plate! They really finnesed you
Is it still loud as f@ck?
Oh yay! Can’t wait to get a reservation at fuckin 9pm in June!
Just jokes but we’ve only ever gotten takeout for that reason and it’s still great.
That bone marrow mushroom risotto is my absolute favorite. I like to pair it with the beet/fennel salad to cut the richness between bites.
That was fast.
I will probably never get the chance to dine there, but I am happy for anyone who works there
… And it’s already booked out from 5-8 pm every night until mid July.
It *really* is back.
Went last night when they reopened and has their Osso Buco which was heaven 🤤 saved some for later for some sandwiches haha
Not going to lie this picture does not look appetizing in the slightest. I wonder why everyone criticizing this place is being downvoted?
Red Ash can suck a Vegetarian nut sack. There’s like three vegetarian items on the menu and they’re overpriced for vegetables, imho.
Learning to cook something incredible on your own seems so much more impressive and interesting in my book.
Now that I’ve seen the menu I can look up recipes and how-to’s and make food for a quarter the cost while not needing a reservation and even having fun with a partner or friend doing it, while also honing in on recipes to use years in the future.
I remember the steaks being decent but the pasta was awful. I don’t get the hype or why they are so hard to get a reservation compared to much better places in town.
How was it? We went a couple years back and it was literally the worst steak I’d ever eaten. Like work that Roadhouse.
