Hi guys, I thawed some wild salmon in the fridge overnight and today when I opened it, the fillets looked a bit off. Is this safe to eat?

For you? Ok. For me? No.
How does it smell?
Well…. How doesn’t smell? And then you have the answer.
Well. Everyone take off their hats please gentlemen. Cause our dear friend OP here probably died eating that salmon. We will remember your friend and so as you always said “If the salmon don’t eat me I shall eat the salmon.” Rest in peace old friend.
Looks wonky
I don’t think a bear would eat that
I’m famous for eating something that’s been sitting in the fridge 2 weeks after the use by date. I would not eat that fish.
My rule: If you have to ask, don’t eat it.
Give it a sniff. Should be okay, just a lil freezer burned
That’s Aldi frozen salmon…it ALWAYS looks like that
It just looks a bit burned from the freezer, we can’t know for sure without knowing if it smells bad
Eww no no! It looks disgusting! No way even cooked!
Looks like it might be keta salmon. It has grown in popularity in recent years, but was considered a “trash fish” before that. Good for smoking, salmon burgers, soups and the like.
Well, I don’t think we can be sure from where we sit. I would advise not eating it – I mean, if there is any question on whether it’s good, why take a chance?
No
Ain’t no way that’s wild caught bro
If you have to ask, it’s probably best that you don’t eat it…
How does it look off if your fucking color blind? You sound like one stupid “microbiologist”.
That fish looks like its been slowly cooking in the fridge.
If in doubt, throw it out.
That looks like freezer burn to me. How does it smell? It should smell like fresh fish, not super fishy.

Negative Ghost Rider.
I wouldn’t eat that did you?
does it pass the sniff test?!!?
Yes, just cut out the discolored part.
I have eaten some dubious shit in my life..
But what the fuck my man
