hey y’all good morning
it’s early i’m gonna make a quick
breakfast
i’m gonna use crescent rolls
cream cheese
cherry pie filling and just a few little
other
things and i’m gonna show you how to do
it
so the first thing you do is you preheat
your oven to 350.
so i’ve got my cream cheese softened
i’ve got 1
4 cup of sugar and i’m going to mix
those together
you can do it in a mixer or you can do
it by hand
i chose to do this by hand because sweet
hunter’s not awake yet
and i didn’t want to turn the mix room
so you just mix this really good till
it’s smooth and then you add a teaspoon
of vanilla and i’m just guessing at that
and then you just mix this up till it’s
really smooth
this is just an easy easy sweet
breakfast
roll that you’re gonna make with
crescent rolls i love it
i love crescent rolls
so i’m gonna continue to stir this until
it’s smooth
okay the next thing you’re gonna do is
you’re going to
open your crescent rolls
you’re just going to take them out and
roll them out
now this recipe calls for two cans
but it’s just me and sweet hunter so i’m
just doing one can
but i made the filling enough for two
cans
now what i’m doing is i am just
separating
the rectangles
and i’m gonna push those perforated
things together where it’ll be just a
rectangle
and i’m gonna try to get that really
tight
because you don’t want them coming apart
well i hear sweet hunter coming
and i haven’t got these done yet but
they’ll be perfect timing for when he
turns his coffee on
and he’s fixing to build me a fire
okay the next thing you’re gonna do is
uh it’s just to melt two tablespoons of
butter
again that’s a little much with just one
can of
crescent rolls but i’m just gonna brush
some butter
on the crescent rolls and you’ll have
left over or you can use
the two cans
i’ll have to show you on my fire when it
gets built
okay the next thing you’re gonna do is
sprinkle just a little bit of brown
sugar on each one
how easy is this right
okay now you’re gonna make your danishes
so what you do is you take the long end
and you just roll this up like this
and then you just make a coil
together
and then you’re going to press this out
to be able to put your feeling like i’ve
done this one
just press it out
okay let’s do another one so you can see
it
just roll this up
coffee’s ready and
roll it up like this
and then just press the middle out
and i’ll pinch it together and that’s
going to hold the feeling
so let’s do this last one same thing
roll it up
make you a little danish and then press
the middle out
now we see why they use two cans because
it only makes four
doing this so i’m just gonna spray my
cookie sheet lightly
and i have pressed these out just a
little bit more because they’re going to
puff up when they
when they uh cook
you don’t want them too thin you want
them to be able to hold that
feeling but need them just a little bit
bigger than
we had them and i’m going to place these
on the cookie sheet
and again if you have if you need more
make the two cans i just don’t need that
many
so now we’re ready for our filling okay
i’m gonna put my filling in now and it
says to put
two teaspoons of cream cheese filling in
so that looks like a lot to me
but i’m gonna do it i don’t remember
putting that much in
now you can bake these just like this
which i’m gonna do and then but right
before they’re done
i’m gonna add a spoonful of cherry pie
filling
and i’ll show you that so i’m gonna bake
these at
350 probably for around 15 minutes
until they’re golden brown
see our beautiful fire certainly got
going for us
when the danishes are done we’ll be
sitting in front of the fire i’ll be
drinking a coke and he’ll be drinking
coffee
and we’ll eat our danishes beautiful i
love my wood fire
love it
okay i’ve got them out of the oven and
all i’ve done is warmed some cherry pie
filling
because i don’t want this to get too
runny i want to
put this on sparingly
you can choose whatever feeling you want
and you can eat it just without
and now i’m going to make just a simple
glazed topping
all i did was put a half a cup a fourth
of a cup
of powdered sugar a little bit of milk
a little bit of vanilla flavoring and
then i’m gonna take
my cheese pie filling and mix it in with
it
and you just stir it until you get it
the consistency you want and the lumps
out
and now i’m just going to drizzle this
pipe this glaze
over this
if you don’t like the cherries in the
glaze just leave it out just do the
sugar
and the milk and the vanilla flavoring
so there they are are they pretty
okay we’re gonna go sit by the fire fire
and eat our
cherry danishes and
enjoy the morning y’all go cook
something

  1. I just came across this video and WOW!! I just made my first batch and my husband is in love with these danish. Thank you so much for sharing this recipe with all of us.

  2. I feel she put Way too much sugar in the cream cheese,I put 2 Tablespoons of fresh lemon 🌿🍋🌿 juice, and 2 Tablespoons of sugar into the cream cheese,it was so delicious that way,and made a couple of them with red raspberry jelly instead of the cherry pie filling….GAME CHANGER!

  3. Just a tip to make it easier and quick is just cut circles out from the dough with a cookie cutter and press and line a cupcake pan add the filling into the middle

  4. Thank you for modeling how to treat your husband on social media! Love your recipe, my hope is the younger women would take notice. 45 years of respect.

  5. Listening to your accent brought me back to my childhood when we would visit my grandma in Tennessee. I luv that. It also sounds like Loretta Lynn. ☺️

  6. Dragging the sleeves of your robe over the food is optional. Confusing teaspoons and tablespoons can be avoided by waking up before trying to cook.
