I dunno about y’all, but this is pretty much the worst (and possibly best, depending on how you view it) laxative/anti-diarrheal recipe I have ever seen. Back in my grandma’s day it was green banana for diarrhea, brown banana for constipation. I now have this old German video to help me in case bananas fail.

Edit: the DDR tried to cheaply copy western dishes too (since they didn’t have the luxury to aquire certain goods as often, they just replaced stuff with dirt-cheap alternatives, which also happened to suck)

My wife is from the Caribbean, she made a drink she said they call a “tonic” that is not dissimilar to what they made in the video, but using Guinness.
It was surprisingly good.
This post looks like another example of someone seeing something they think looks gross and calling it stupid.
