Is there a reason to snip off first flowers to promote plant growth?
Indeterminate Better Boy, heard this idea going around and was curious if there was any truth to it

It won’t promote plant growth, but a lot of resources say that you should pinch off the first few flower clusters to promote heavier flowering and fruiting. The plant basically thinks something is eating the buds, so it goes into overdrive producing extra blossoms. I’m not entirely sure this isn’t an old wives’ tale, but it gets repeated often.
