Linguine Alle Vongole [Recipe 👇🏻]
Last Friday we went live for the first time and made Linguine Alle Vonogle (Linguine with Clams)! It’s one my all time faves, it’s the first dish I made when I started posting cooking videos (on YouTube), and It’s a classic in my books. Great to see people joining in for the fun and asking all questions! Had a lot of people saying how goo this dish was, so if you missed it or couldn’t make it along side me, here the recipe.
We will be going #LIVE more often so let me know what you want to see?
– more pasta?
– a rice bowl?
– fast 15 min recipes?
Per Serving:
Ingredients
– 18 – 20 Manilla clams
– 2 cloves garlic, sliced
– 3 tbsp olive oil
– 1-2 oz of dry white wine
– 1 tbsp parsley, finely chopped
– 1/2 lemon juice
– 100 g linguine
method
0) boil pasta and follow box instructions. Start cooking the following sauce, when there is about 5 minutes left until the pasta is finished. Ie, if it takes 11 minutes to cook, start cooking the sauce at minute 6.
1) saute the garlic in olive oil on med-high until fragrant
2) add the clams and quickly toss around for about 10-15 seconds
3) add in the white wine and cover with lid. Watch as the clams start to open. about 3 min. When the clams open they will release liquid, which will be a big component of the sauce.
4) when the clams pop open, add in your pasta and give it a good toss in the sauce
5) add about 1-2 tbsp of more olive oil, when this mixes with the pasta water, clam juice, it will emulsify into a nice pan sauce. Finish cooking pasta in the sauce 1-2 mins.
6) mix in the parsley and lemon juice and turn off the heat. give it a good mix
7) serve and garnish with more parsley

this is one of my favorite dishes of all
time Linguini alav vongal or Linguini
with clams in a white wine sauce it’s so
freaking good clams are really easy to
cook with you’ll know when they’re done
when they pop open we sauteed them with
a little bit of garlic and olive oil
then steamed them with some white wine
we added the Linguini and some more
olive oil into the pan and we finished
cooking the pasta in the white wine clam
sauce then we finished with some lemon
juice and some parsley it’s absolutely
