I have the $499 one and have used it at least weekly for a year. It’s big enough that I combine multiple days meals at the same time.

I bought an 850Pro during the summer of 2020 and it’s been great. I smoke 1-2x/month, I cover it, and I clean it after every second cook. Haven’t replaced a single part except for the cover. Send it!

Go for a 700 size or bigger, you will not be sorry. I have had a Zgrills 700 size for 6 years and over 1,000 meals. It is just a great size and will do a turkey of 17 lbs. I have a Pit Boss series 5 vertical that is just killing it as well. Love them both.

I believe the Austin XL Onyx is $500usd so I’d compare them myself. They don’t look like amazing deals but not bad.

Buy a 700FB1, not the regular 700FB. I have a 700FB1, the digital controller is nice, especially with the 2 meat probe ports
