    Climate zone?

    A frost cover can help if temperatures get cold but not freezing. If you get hard freezing, the plants will likely die.

    If the ground freezes by you, you prep them for overwintering, remove them, and bring them indoors.

    Thanks, doesn’t freeze here Victoria Australia but the frosts won’t be to far away
