Kibbeh in yogurt sauce is a comforting & popular Middle Eastern recipe. This is an authentic Lebanese recipe in which you can use fried or raw kibbeh cooked in yogurt sauce. In Arabic it is called Kibbeh bi labanieh or Kibbeh bi laban and “labanieh” and “laban” both refer to the garlicky yogurt sauce that really makes this recipe unique.

Kibbeh Bi Laban
Ingredients:
1. Kibbeh stuffed or plain 10-12
2. Yogurt 1kg beaten
3. Corn flour 1tbsp mixed 3/4cup of water.
4. Egg 1
5. Meat Broth 1-1/2cup ( 1 box equals to 2 meat cubes mixed in hot water)
6. Salt 1/2tsp
7. Mint leaves dried powder 1tsp
8. Oil 1/4cup
9. Garlic chopped 1tbsp full
10. Fresh coriander leaves 1/4cup
11. Pine nuts 2tbsp fried

Method:
1. In a frying pan add oil and add readymade kibbeh and deep shallow fry and setaside.
2. In a cooking pan add beaten yogurt and add slurry of corn flour and mix and add egg and mix well cook on low flame.
3. Then add meat broth and mix & cook until it becomes slightly thick in consistency.
4. When it starts to boil add salt and mint leaves dried powder and mix.
5. Then add fried kibbeh and mix and cover the lid and simmer for 10 minutes.
6. In a frying pan add oil and add garlic chopped and saute for a while and add fresh coriander leaves and mix do not over cook.
7. Transfer temper in yogurt sauce and Kibbeh bi Laban is ready garnish with some temper and fried pine nuts.
DELICIOUS KIBBEH BI LABAN is ready.
