Rice cooker cakes are a thing, I have done several of them, and every single one turned out great. In the video they just fucked up.

My Zojirushi rice cooker literally came with a recipe book that includes making cakes in the rice cooker. Not stupid food unless you put in the wrong portions of ingredients without a recipe, one which can very easily be found online.
