Tasty and simple !

Ingredients :

Tomato
Bocconcini cheese (medium size)
Shallot
Garlic
Habanero
Basil Leaves
Dill
Oregano
Olive Oil
Salt & Pepper

Process :

1. Preheat your oven and prepare a baking dish.
2. Remove the top of the tomato with the vine intact.
3. Hollow out the tomatoes and save the insides for later.
4. Place bocconcini mozzarella balls inside the hollowed tomatoes.
5. Season with dill, salt, pepper, and olive oil.
6. Cover the tomatoes with the vine tops and bake for 15 minutes.
7. While the tomatoes bake, prepare a filling by finely chopping shallot, garlic, inner tomato, and habanero in a food processor.
8. Remove the baked tomatoes from the oven and remove the vine tops. Keep the vine tops for presentation after your filling is added.
9. Fill the tomatoes with the prepared filling.
10. Drizzle with more olive oil, sprinkle with oregano and black pepper, and finish with your basil leaves.

Serve immediately and enjoy!

  1. Would you try this? Share your thoughts below. If you want less of a kick, either don't use habaneros(opt into something less spicy, such as jalapenos or chilis) or you can always remove the seeds with the membrane inside.

    Tip about spicy peppers : The heat comes from the membrane, not the seeds.
