Hey all my Belle’s Today I’ll Be making a CopyCat virgin Of The Cheesecake Factory’s Shrimp Scampi with my own lik twist. I hope you enjoy this video. Thank you so much for tuning in.

INGREDIENTS
1 lb. peeled, deveined shrimp, butterflied
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1/2 package angel hair pasta

PARMESAN BREADING:
1/2 c. panko breadcrumbs
3 tbsp. shredded Parmesan, plus more for topping dish
1/4 tsp. Black pepper
1/4 tsp. cayenne pepper

CREAM SAUCE:
3 tbsp. olive oil
1 c. white wine
5 whole garlic cloves, peeled
1 pint heavy cream
1/2 red onion, diced
1 plum tomato, diced
1 tsp. fresh basil, chopped, plus more for topping

DIRECTIONS
Toss shrimp in baking soda and salt mixture. Leave in fridge for 15-20 minutes.
Cook angel hair pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
Make the Parmesan breading: Combine all ingredients in a shallow bowl. Coat shrimp in breading.
Warm olive oil in large skillet over medium heat. Use tongs to place the shrimp in the skillet. Cook shrimp, about 2 to 3 minutes per side, until it’s curled up and is pink and white, not gray or translucent anymore. Place on a plate lined with paper towels.
Make the cream sauce: Add white wine and bring to a boil, stirring occasionally. Once boiling, reduce heat to medium-low and add garlic. Stir occasionally, letting the sauce reduce, for about 8 to10 minutes.
Add the heavy cream, stir and bring the sauce to a simmer. Add the onion, stir and let the sauce simmer for 5 to7 minutes. Add tomato and basil, stirring to combine. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
Divide angel hair pasta among plates. Top with shrimp and cream sauce. Garnish with additional Parmesan and basil if you’d like.

[Music] hello my bells and welcome back y’all welcome back to the channel if you’re new here welcome also if you’re new and you have not yet subscribed go ahead and hit that subscribe button so that you can become part of the family y’all so today i am doing a little voice over because there’s a lot of noise in my house i’m doing a little voiceover but we are making a copycat version of the cheesecake factory shrimp scampi but i’m going to add my own little twist to it i am going to actually add some crawfish they don’t do this at the cheesecake factory but i decided to add some crawfish tails to my shrimp scampi so you guys here we go i’m at the counter and i’m just showing you guys that i have my shrimp i have about a pound of shrimp um and that is the um colossal shrimp 1315 so i’m just cutting it here to show you guys how i butterfly it i butterflied all the rest i’m just showing you that one so i can show you how butterflies you don’t want to cut it all the way through but that’s how i butterflied it so you guys i have my shrimp here in a bowl and i’m going to add a half a teaspoon of salt any type of salt of your choosing whatever you want to use a half a teaspoon of baking soda i’m going to add that i’m going to mix that in really well you guys i’m going to mix it in nice and well and then we are going to come over here and we’re going to add a half a cup of panko bread crumbs you can use seasoned bread crumbs if that’s what you choose but once you put that parmesan cheese in there it’s going to be kind of salty and i use three tablespoons of parmesan cheese a half a teaspoon of cayenne pepper you guys a half teaspoon of cayenne pepper that we added got stuck in the cup so we gotta fix that my bread crumbs um parmesan cheese and the cayenne pepper i’m just mixing it together so i can you know incorporate it all together then we’re going to take our shrimp and we’re going to dip our shrimp in there and batter it up really good you want it it don’t have to be battered like super but you want to make sure you get some in the middle where you butterflied it because you want your shrimp to kind of sit up in your um scampi when you do put it in there so you kind of want to butterfly it so you guys that’s it i’m going to get a little rack so i can put that on the rack and let it sit there while i wait for my oil to get hot so i’m taking two tablespoons of olive oil and that’s my garlic infused olive oil you guys that i talk about all the time that i buy from trader joe’s i added a little more because two tablespoons and seem like enough to me but i added a little more probably so i probably added two and a half tablespoons of garlic olive oil so you guys now my grease is hot i am going to get my shrimp and place my shrimp in there i’m going to try to place it in there where the butterfly is kind of open because like i said you guys wanted to kind of sit up the cheesecake factory shrimp kind of sit up in their shrimp scampi even they don’t give you as much many shrimp as i’m gonna put on mine but it kind of sits but y’all see not all of them are sitting up the way that i would like for them to so you guys we’re gonna fry these up till they golden brown um nice and golden brown and you know pinkish then i’m going to take them out actually so i can place them in the oven for a little while um you guys yeah i’m still placing them in the in the thing i probably should have cut that out but it’s all right i’m gonna make sure this video is not too long so y’all ain’t watching me for hours or a 16 minute video y’all so you guys there’s my shrimp i have browned them up i’m going to actually take them out of there and i’m going to place them in the oven for about probably about five minutes not even five minutes just until i get my stuff prepared for my uh sauce to uh make my salsa you guys there they go they nice and brown and pretty y’all see how they look don’t they look beautiful when i got mine from cheesecake factory it’s a little darker than that but it was so good to me you guys i had to try to make it again because it was good and cheesecake factory is not cheap they’re expensive they don’t even give you enough food to me don’t seem like it but y’all there’s my shrimp okay so i’m taking my shrimp out so that i can place them in the oven for like i said for about five minutes and then i will pull them out you guys some people like their shrimp like that i don’t y’all know that i have the mice have to be killed three times so i like mine’s done done no they’re not going to be rubbery they’re going to be good to my liking i don’t want no half undone shrimps okay you guys so in that same pan i’m going to be using i cut up um a half of a red onion i chopped it up really nice even though i didn’t chop those onions up i bought them like that y’all bought them chopped up already and thing i wanted to choose the lazy way so that’s what i did i chopped those up and i put i’m sauteing those in okay you guys so i’m adding my um garlic that is five whole cloves of garlic normally cheesecake factory leaves theirs whole but i didn’t want mines like that so i roughly chopped them up um you guys and we’re gonna saute that up together uh in that little pan and fine but i chopped them up oh all right uh you guys so um now i’m adding my tomatoes i use one whole uh what is that roma tomato and i took the seeds out because i don’t want the juice of them so i took the seeds out um so we’re going to saute that up you guys now i’m adding some basil again i didn’t want to cut nothing up so i bought it already chopped up and you need a tablespoon of basil fresh basil that’s fresh i just didn’t chop it up the people did it for me y’all so we’re gonna mix that all together then you’re gonna need a half a cup of white wine of your choosing whatever white wine you want to use i believe it was a half a cup y’all if it wasn’t half a cup i’m putting crushed green but i believe it was a half a cup of white wine if i’m not mistaken i probably use more than half a cup but um that’s what i use so y’all we’re going to let that cook we’re going to bring it up to a boil probably really not to a boil and then we are going to add some heavy whipping cream you actually need a whole cup of heavy whipping cream so you’re going to pour that in there and get it all sopped up and good and just juiciness y’all see that don’t it look good it look good already you ain’t eating nothing in there it’s just sauce so y’all you got to cook that you’re probably going to cook that sauce for about 10 to 15 minutes till it thickens up i actually added some parmesan cheese it didn’t the recipe doesn’t call for that but i added some because i like cheese y’all i just love cheese and it thickens it up really nicely so there we go y’all it’s nice and bubbly it’s thickened up now i’m gonna add my crawfish tails those crawfish tails i bought from the store already um like they were already out of the shells you guys but i had to clean them because they still had that stuff in it so i had to clean that stuff out because y’all know i don’t eat that but there’s my crawfish tail that’s about a pound of crawfish or probably more it’s probably more than a pound i didn’t even read the package but i added that to my sauce you guys and here is my finished product well it’s not finished but i i put this in a pasta bowl i uh got my noodles in there so i’m just showing y’all right now i’m about to sprinkle a little basil on top fresh basil don’t be laughing at my hands because they’re actually because i wash them all the time but that is the finished product right there you guys this is my finished plate so until next time don’t forget to like comment
