SEASON THE FLOUR AND GIVE THE BEEF A LIGHT DUSTING

TO A LARGE PAN ADS A LITTLE OIL AND BUTTER AND PLACE THE BEEF IN AND COOK FOR 6 MINS

REMOVE THE BEEF AND SET TO ONE SIDE

IN THE SAME PAN (DO NOT CLEAN) ADD THE ONIONS, BAY LEAF, CELERY AND SALT AND PEPPER, COOK FOR 4 MINS

NOW A 1 TBS GARLIC AND 1/4 CUP TOMATO PASTE, COOK FOR 4 MINS

ADD 1TBS FLOUR AND COOK FOR 5 MINS

NOW INTRODUCE THE BEEF AND COOK FOR 5 MINS

ADD 2 PINTS OF STOCK OR RED WINE IF YOU LIKE AND SIMMER FOR 20 MINS

NOW ADD CARROTS, POTATOES AND FROZEN PEAS AGAIN ON A SIMMER COOK FOR 20 MINS

FINISH OFF BY ADDING A LITTLE CHOPPED PARSLEY
