How to Make Martha Stewart’s Roasted Spaghetti Squash

this is a spaghetti squash its unique flesh when cooked is sweet and nutty and separates into spaghetti like strands we’re going to cut the squash in half it’s a little there oops it worked scrape out it’s like the inside of a pumpkin for roasting preheat your oven to 425° sprinkle olive oil salt and pepper and you cook it until it is tender so you see how nicely this breaks up into this beautiful spaghetti yey like fiber so into this add about a half a teaspoon of red pepper flakes some black pepper a half a teaspoon of salt the juice of half a lemon half a cup of parsley you could use basil if you like lightly toss this a little bit of olive oil and a generous sprinkling of Parmesan cheese serve it as you would a lovely pasta dish

  1. Sounds bizarre but in Africa monkeys throw hard fruits etc on the ground and it breaks into pieces. Much safer than using a knife especially with pumpkins that have been stored for a long time!

  2. The strands run horizontal not length wise, so either cut by the width, or, if roasted in the fashion, scrape sideways not the way she demonstrated.

  3. I’m yet to try any of her unbelievably easy to make recipes and not love it!! She makes sure the recipe is perfect for her standards! She has never done wrong with her cooking and her merchandise, I have found that her higher end kitchen and household stuff are good quality and durable, my family has been too obsessed with super high quality bedding, and we feel Hermés and Pratesi sheets and towels and too commercial for comfort and there are much better custom houses in France for that.
