Bananas Foster is one of the best desserts in the world! Make it at home in your own kitchen. It is fast to make and delicious warm over cold ice cream!
Ingredients:
1/2 stick butter (2 ounces)
2 to 5 bananas
1/2 cup Brown Sugar
1/4 cup Brandy (2 ounces)
1/3 cup cream or evaporated milk
dash salt
dash cinnamon
vanilla ice cream

[Applause] [Music] we’re going to make some banana dessert here’s a half a stick of butter 2 oz put it in my pan and here is two bananas I sliced in half so those in [Music] there you know you can do a lot more bananas if you want I only had two and here is a half a cup of brown sugar and put that in there and I want to heat this up it’s on medium heat you can cut the bananas up if you [Music] want and get get this going okay it’s been going for about a minute and a half 2 minutes and here is Brandy you do not have to do this add the Brandy in there light a match okay the Brandy is pretty much um burned out we’re going to add about a half 1/4 cup half a cup of uh cream you can use evaporated milk we’re also going to take our salt shaker sprinkle a little bit of salt in there and we’re also going to take cinnamon just put a Sprinkle of that in there and stir this up and let this thicken a little bit it take a minute or two it’s it’s cooked up about 3 minutes just serve it over your ice cream this will make two servings but I’m going to eat it all just a you don’t really need to double any of the ingredients except for the bananas to make it like four servings and you have a wonderful warm cold dessert thanks for watching

@kilmorey13 same reason why you should always use a pinch of salt when making any chocolate recipes, its a natural flavour enhancer.
@kilmorey13 you dont need it no, but simple test is to make 2 batches at the same time, make 1 with salt and 1 without salt, taste the non salt one first then taste the salted one, and you will see the differance

Why do all recipes suggest that the flambé is optional? It really isn't hard, and it is just far too sweet (pure sugar) if you don't do it
