[Music] on the way to a very cool event and I’m just kind of sort of in the spirit a little nautical maybe cuz we’re going on a boat wa free boat ride for three keeve yes and Tay cool we running this let’s go I’m on a [Music] look who it is the summer is here it’s a beautiful day outside I also just have a lot to do so let’s heat up a factor meal for lunch today you can keep the kitchen to a to eat meals so you don’t have to do any of like the prep of the kitchen I feel like I get so stressed out when my kitchen’s a mess but at the same time I want like a home-cooked meal I want something like healthy I’m like working out every day spinning my little legs away so I feel like I should be like doing something right in the kitchen and that is why I really like fat so I’m about to heat up this one this is the tomato basil chicken risotto I’m actually going to do it in the oven they have all different menu preferences to fit like whatever it is that you are looking for and like your goals they have six different menu preferences so if you want to like manage your calories maximize protein intake avoid meat or simply just be well balanced factor is it Factor also has delicious invited into Canada Goose to go shopping for Mother’s Day what an honor and then we are going to go get my mom’s hair done well actually I’m getting my hair done too we’re both getting our hair done from mads and then I have a exciting evening ahead I have my friend Margo’s birthday dinner and yeah so my mom’s just coming for a few hours so I figured I would Vlog because obviously you guys are like please put your mom in the Vlogs please I’m like okay I’ll give you I’ll give you people what you want I don’t know what to wear it’s kind of like weird in between weather I don’t know if I should wear my hair up but this sweater is from uni I like rediscovered it in my closet and I was like wait I love this and then spaned white jeans I might just wear like a white sneaker cuz I feel like we might be walking around a little bit feel like I’ve been like wearing a variation of this outfit and then this belt that I don’t even know where it’s from I rediscovered it in my closet it’s not anything like nice it’s not it’s definitely not real leather it’s not it’s like plasticky Vibes but I like the look of it cuz I feel like a belt just makes everything look a little more polished I did like super light makeup for the day I pretty much just concealer and well I covered up all my acne so I did a lot of concealer but no like Foundation cuz I’m going to get fully ready later so I feel like I just wanted like a nice daytime L I will add this blush that I feel like always makes my face pop rare Beauty and cheer I don’t know why that blush looks patchy but this will hopefully make it look better gives like the look of like a highlighter too Joe Malone sent my mom over a Mother’s Day gift and we’re not going to be together on actual Mother’s Day so I’m having her open it now oh my gosh we were shopping in Florida and you were like oh the Jo malan’s so nice and I was like you know what have happy Mother’s Day let’s see it’s always waps some you actually taught me about Jo Malone because um of YuYu actually your friend that my mom’s colleague oh my God oh my gosh this is the fancy one really yes this is the one that like look look at it just look at the feel it’s like this yeah yeah yeah really ni nice what scent what scent you know I don’t like fcking oh you love that kind oh my gosh oh my go oh it’s really nice you know what’s so nice about them it’s not like one of those I won’t say the name those Body Shop type of scents that’s like so you like overpowering it’s like you almost don’t know that it’s lilac and lavender but you do know you’re such a sales woman I love it I love it a natural advertisement I guess this is going up too late for Mother’s Day gift ideas but I I always this is a great one candles and diffus oh thank you and then they happened in our 2 and a half year long relationship I am just not the cook of the relationship tonight we’re going to do it I’m trying to pick out a recipe and I’m going to go to the store pick up everything I’ve just been enjoying my Saturday doing random computer things I posted a video it’s a long like Q&A video with my real estate agent and feel like it’s a little different for my channel so it’s not like performing as as well but I can assure you that the content’s there play it like a podcast and I kind of give a little some life updates in it so go go check that out okay I have to decide what to make this is definitely like a very healthy cookbook but I I love Daphne a so I’m just like flipping through trying to find something sheet pen teriyaki chicken and green beans that sounds good barbecue chicken pictures just make it look so much better all let’s find something all right I decided I’m going like full Mediterranean Vibes for this dinner the recipe I think it’s Mediterranean chicken skewers yes and then I found like I just looked up like Mediterranean roasted veg and I got pretty much everything like prepped so that I really just have to cook it all now I feel like for me like I just get stressed when it’s like okay dinner has to be on the table in like 30 minutes or whatever it is and then I’m like I still have to do all the prep and everything I don’t know please bear with like this is you know my journey with cooking so but I just did all of the work of like I pre-chopped everything so like this I put them in these caroway containers which I love um so this is eggplant and just tomatoes and then I did onion and zucchini and then I did oh this is the chicken that’s marinating love that for me cuz now I really just have to you know cook everything oh and then I even made I know it’s crazy in these little carow containers then I put just the sliced lemons the rest of the lemons that I had to serve on the side then this is the uh like oil and spice mixture that is going to be poured on top of the vegetables before I roast them and then I also just got I wanted to have like some sort of carb so I got couscous Pearl couscous thought I’d work out today but I don’t think the timing is going to permit but that’s fine we work out another time you know it’s not not the end of the world I do have to clean up a little bit I feel like I just have boxes everywhere and my mom was here and she was like broke whoo yeah I’m not perfect I’m not perfect I’m just showing you guys all the stuff I’m progressively picking up for this Italy trip because I feel like I didn’t do just like one massive shop I’ve just been like getting little things and I did get this little pill or organizer cuz I need to bring my supplements and everything with me on this trip like that has to happen I just put my seed in it so far for the trip then I’ll put like all my other vitamins snaps together like this it was like $9 on Amazon I can just throw it in my travel bag and I know it’s not going to like burst open or anything little Nifty travel Gadget all right I’ve been soaking the sticks because it’s said to do that skewers you know what I mean I’m about to make the couscous let’s start on the veg cut veggies I think that the sticks are sufficiently soaked like a neighbor is blasting house music but they’re far away enough that it’s faint but it’s Pleasant it’s my type of music so I have my window open also cuz this is all hot so it’s perfect stir in Pearl cuscus cover with lid reduce heat to low and simmer 8 to 10 minutes okay all right I just stepped outside cuz I wanted to hear it so I put on this little cozy pullover this is from the Bren Park they sent it to me I love the pink how cute this my be one of my last like cooking things in this apartment I mean I’m going to be here next week so if I cook next week no I’ll definitely cook something but wow is this all going to fit on one tray all right and then it said just to drizzle this on top so roast for 30 to 35 minutes Alexa set a timer for 30 minutes skewers are going to go in the oven pretty easy I just cut the chicken breast up into like little cubes and then did my marinade and now we’ll bake for this couscous I added in a little feta and some lemon juice it’s like very small serving but that’s fine and this is the finished product the veggies the chicken and the couscous look at me the last thing I want to do is workout but I I know it’s going to feel good I know I already know it’s just like a Grove Sunday and I just want to rot on the couch but my mom got a vest in a rain jacket and then I got this in a rain jacket I feel so lucky so thank you kind go and it’s raining right now so I figured I could like use the hood but I also kind of need it for warmth it’s pretty chilly out there so we’re going to get a spin in and then I’ll come back home I have leftovers for dinner or I could e a factory meal of options baby got to do a few things to set myself up for success for the week but besides that we’re giving marshmallow in the best way apparently if I get makeup on the top here I could just use a shout B to get it out so we’re taking hip hop Sunday that’s the theme of the class let’s [Music] go oh my gosh guys it is disgusting out so gross let’s go home showering get cozy I’m wearing this cute little fleece it’s not so little actually it’s it’s oversized I love using little as a a adjective for things even when it’s not so little my cute little pink balls not so little people are like oh how is like all the pink you are going to be or pink in your home and stuff going to be impacted like when you live with the man and honestly Ben and I were kind of talking about it like obviously the bedroom theme well I guess not obviously but the main bedroom colors are not going to be pink but like it’s still going to be inter ated throughout like it’s just a great color I love it it’s not like a huge I mean I guess I have it on this piece of art here I like this piece of art and stuff like this because you can kind of choose like it has every color in it you know so if you want to decorate with like yellow or blue then it like pulls the blue from that I don’t know just a thought I’m kind of doing not really planning for the week but just like looking ahead at my week seeing like what I’m going to work out this week what I have on Deck I actually speaking of Ben we have Ben’s sister’s wedding this week so rehearsal dinner and wedding which I am so excited about typical Brook fashion um I still don’t have a dress I actually ordered some on pickle and they just they’re just not perfect and it’s like a big wedding and I know I’m going to be taking a lot of photos and I just want it to be like absolutely Perfection so I L minute order a few and we’re going to see like what fits and what doesn’t cuz you know I’ve known about this for literally a year but here we are I just watched the like Vogue live stream and then I watch like Emma Chamberlain’s like little little here I I’m using that word again I’m my Chamberlain’s videos like about it I need my skin to be clear and glowing in Perfection for this wedding cuz like I said we’re taking a lot of photos and stuff so I’m just going to try to do everything in my power to manifest that energy for myself this week please did I ever even say where this is from it’s from Park um Danielle actually told me about this brand on the podcast and then I kept seeing so much about it and then they sent me this and I love it just like a really comfy oversized fleece I love a fleece also hydrating it CU I heard that well I drink like I think I drink a lot of water but I guess I could you could always drink more and I’ve heard that it really helps your skin like if you you know the week before Big B and stuff you really really extra hydrate so that’s what we’re doing guys I don’t know what happened to me but I last night like when I was like laying down I felt my neck and I was like whoa why does my neck hurt so much and then I got like I realized that I had just Nots up and down my neck not sure if insult cycle I must have messed it up because it didn’t hurt the be first half of the day so needless to say I didn’t work out today and I’ve been just continuously microwaving this rare Beauty heating pad I have I knew I I I’m not a big heating pad girly but I have had this thing on rotation all day because I like could barely move my neck this morning and I feel like it’s really helping actually so I’m here for this I think it might be sold out I got it when I was on that Branch trip with them so I slicked my hair back and I’m in just a very simple outfit it’s just this it’s actually a bodysuit it’s like a pink bodysuit from nudes and I’m in just like a loose fitting pair of jeans I’m going to throw a sweater around it’s a pretty casual outfit but I’m super excited because I’m actually going to the tar offices right now I’ve done one thing with t before I went to the Bruce Springsteen concert and I’ve been trying to get a meeting with them and they were like hey instead of a meeting why don’t you come to the office we’ll do your makeup and you could take some pictures too I was like oh my God that sounds amazing so I am going to head over there now I don’t really know what to expect I feel weird going into like a meeting with no makeup on but that’s kind of what I did I I didn’t want to like put on makeup to take it off that felt weird so I just did skin care I guess I’m going to be taking these pictures with my hair up and I wanted to wear something colorful on the top I purposely like scrubbed off all my tan so I’m like pale right now but cuz I have um Ben’s sister’s wedding at the end of the week so I want to get a spray t for that so the are going to be some loading days but I’m excited to feel pretty and just to meet the whole team and everything so I don’t think I met a few at the event last year now but oh my gosh I have like they’re right here the knots there’s a b can you go away please the heating pad is actually helping cuz it’s helping to like warm up the muscle cuz then I could rub it and it doesn’t like hurt as much I was like looking up like chiropractor videos last night it was like how to get rid of neck knots fast some of them are really helpful actually they give you like tips like sit up in this certain way rub it for 10 seconds look in this Direction look forward rub it this way and it like helps to loosen it up for sure I don’t know what the heck I did all right but we got to go this is like another sweater that I could do cuz this one has like buttons in the front so maybe you can kind of see the pink underneath if I do that then I could tuck it and then I have this belt that I rented from Fashion pass and this is more like a complete outfit so maybe I’ll do those I can’t decide [Music] guys beautiful look at that gorgeous I feel like we should do some a little more more like the let’s do it yeah yeah [Music] my neck is messed up but the Glam is glamming I’m like what am I going to do with it on now they the gires at tart they were like what are you what are you doing the rest of the day I was like unfortunately I didn’t plan it for a day that I like needed my makeup done it would have made more sense to do it tomorrow to like do the glam tomorrow when I’m podcasting but unfortunately like the timing just didn’t work out with that here I am actually I’m really glad I wore this pink shirt for the pictures though cuz I think it did pop like I said they gave me a sweatsuit like should I put that on making some couscous that’s like my fixation right now ever since I bought it this weekend I’ve just been making it I mean it’s pasta Pearl couscous so it’s delicious I’ve been adding in like some veggies or some of the chicken that I made it’s great well the mechal is on tonight so I’m going to watch some of that do some computer things yeah I ended up doing nothing with this makeup but that’s okay cuz I got those great pictures today I posted them on my Instagram I don’t know what the like lighting combo was there but it was hitting very cool to me that at the tart office they were just able to like whip that out they were like oh yeah we have S my bras out they were just like oh we have a photographer so you can come here take pictures after you get your makeup done by our makeup artist super super cool this Vlog has been truly all over the place I feel like I mean we tell my mom we we’ve done a little bit of everything so I feel like this is an appropriate time to end it off and I’m going to pick back up another one tomorrow so lots of Vlogs the next like I’m going to be vlogging a lot the next whatever before Italy I’m going Vlog
