I am not sure what happened to my comment. I live in Berkeley, CA and planted these about a month ago. I amended the soil in the raised bed with compost and potting soil. As soon as new leaves grow, the begin to curl and turn spotted and brown. Any ideas of what is going is appreciated!!

Dirt from rain splashing on the leaves.. It probably needs more nutrients, too… That’s my 2 cents 😁
