Ingredients:
1 pound Brussel Sprouts
1 cup chopped raw bacon
2 tbsp Olive Oil
1 tbsp Red Wine Vinegar
1/2 cup chopped Red Onion
Salt & Pepper
Directions:
Wash the Brussel Sprouts well and drain. Chop length-wise, about 4 slices each, and set aside. Peel and chop up the Red Onion then set aside. Take a heavy skillet and heat on medium high. When hot, add and cook the bacon pieces until golden brown. Remove and drain on paper towel. Save the bacon grease in the pan. Add the olive oil and simmer the diced onions for about 2 minutes. Add in the chopped Brussel Sprouts and let it sit for 3-5 minutes, allowing it to roast and brown. Stir occasionally then add the Red Wine Vinegar, letting it evaporate. Finally add the bacon, salt and pepper to taste. Enjoy! *

hi everyone welcome back to another episode of honey suckle catering today I’m going to show you how to make a really popular side dish the pan roasted brussel sprout the side dish is hearty and savory cuz it has bits of bacon caramelized onion and then that charred taste from the Brussels sprouts it’s delicious and easy to make and I’m going to show you how let’s get started you’re going to need need a pound of Brussels sprouts 1 cup of chopped bacon 2 tbsp of olive oil 1 tbspoon of red wine vinegar half a cup of chopped red onions and some salt and pepper first what you’re going to do is wash and trim your brussels sprouts clean then take your brussels sprouts and chop it up I usually like to cut them lengthwise like this into fours after you’ve chopped up your brussels sprouts take your onions and dice them in into small cubes next take a heavy set pan put it on the stove and turn it on medium high heat once it’s hot put your bacon on to cook it for about 3 minutes until it’s crispy and brown now remove the cooked bacon from the pan be sure to save any excess Bacon fat in the pan because this is going to help flavor our prussel Sprouts now take your olive oil and put it in the pan take your diced onion and put it in the pan and cook it for about 2 minutes now add in your chopped brussel sprouts and let it sit for about 3 to 5 minutes so that it can roast you’ll know when it’s done when the Bottom’s nice and brown next adding your red wine vinegar into the pan and let it evaporate finally add in your bacon a dash of salt and pepper and give it a stir and there you have it your pan roasted brussels sprouts and now you’re ready to serve this will go great with your Thanksgiving dinner or any other dinner entree and now my favorite part let’s give it a [Music] try it’s so good it has kind of a bite to it from the red wine vinegar and it’s Savory and the caramelized onion and Brussels fries just go so well together I hope you enjoyed this recipe let me know how you like to season your brussels sprouts and what you would pair it with by comment below and if you want to see more videos and recipes please subscribe above and please also visit my Facebook page for more daily updates and I’ll see you guys soon [Music] [Laughter] [Music] bye [Music]

This will go great with RICE!! with a side of red pepper. 🙂
A bit of lemon juice cuts the bitterness 🙂 Great video
I LOVE this recipe and video! Saving it for Christmas to go with my turkey!
Awesome looking. Bacon makes everything better.

Looks yummy
Looks fantastic. Yum I love Brussel sprouts. I'd leave the bacon out though lol. I basically make my sprouts in the steamer and put lemon juice and pepper on them. I can eat them plain as it doesn't bother me. My hubby and daughter hate them so more for me 🙂 thanks for the video

Making this for my family tonight ! Hope it's as good as it looks 🙂
I read that heating up olive oil is actually not good for your body. The article I read mentioned that olive oil even becomes toxic when heated…:( I don´t know if that true. I just report what I read…
You look very beautiful in this video
