today we’re going to make homemade chicken pot pie if you need a crust recipe there’s one in the videos this comes out so much better than those Rinky Dink pot pies you buy in the frozen section this one is so good first you need to boil three chicken breasts and uh just boil those and set your oven on 350 while you shred up the chicken and don’t forget the dog catch good girl add one can of cream of chicken soup and you can make cream of chicken yourself from scratch and make this totally amazing and add one can of mixed veggies you can also use frozen or fresh stuff uh but I’m going for quick and tasty and this works just fine add some salt and pepper to taste and you’ll want to mix that up and see how the consistency is and add about a half a cup of sour cream you don’t want to put so much in it it’s ready it’s ready oh my gosh that it’s goopy and it looks about like that and you want to get your bottom pie crust and load all that filling in there and the whole bowl is going to fit into one pie it just ends up perfect and you’re going to want to mash that down and get all the air bubbles out so everything kind of gets kind of even and then we’re going to go get our top crust and just lay it on there the best you can and just take the edges of your pie and fold it up around it so that way if anything bubbles up it won’t uh go squirting out the sides and mess up your oven but just kind of fold it over like little envelope and that should be fine I’m not going for pretty I’m just hungry and then just squish it down all the way around and it looks lumpy but it’s good and we’re going to stick that in the oven for about 50 minutes until it’s golden brown and you see little bubbles coming up on the sides so we’re just going to pop that in there on the middle rack and if you have big eaters this will feed three people 50 minutes later it’s lightly golden brown and just looks amazing and we’re going to cut into it and see how it looks inside but this is really hot really creamy it makes good for winter days and it’s really easy to make that crust comes out flaky and the Bottom’s not hard it just turns out perfect I really really like this chicken pot pie I won’t eat any frozen chicken pot pies anymore milon my husband and I had this for dinner and we finished off the whole pie it is just so tasty and that’s what the inside looks like and I hope yall enjoyed this recipe if you if you try it let me know
