hi guys welcome to this series that I’m going to call cooking with bellaa I have been thinking about starting this for a few weeks now basically it’s just me cooking different recipes sometimes it’s going to be something that I’ve never cooked before and sometimes it’s going to be something that I have cooked before but today we’re going to be making a dish that I’ve never made before and I saw this recipe on Tik Tok and basically it’s just I’ll show you guys can you see that it’s basically just a spinach rotto and it looks so freaking good I’ve never made rotto in my life before so I’m very excited about how this is going to turn out yeah let’s just get on with it as for groceries I bought rotto rice I have never made rotto before and I’ve only had rotto like one twice before so it’s going to be interesting heavy cream tomatoes because I already had spinach and Parmesan vegetable stuck then I need some bread crumbs I think I have that yeah I think we’re good to go I am feeling so uncomfortable in this outfit I don’t know if you can tell but like I’m wearing shorts inside of my pants and it’s really just pressing in on my belly so I’m quickly gonna change my outfit and then we can start cooking gonna be so exciting basically I’m going to start off by melting butter it’s a good thing I have butter because I forgot about that also yesterday I got this huge Splinter on my foot from basically just our wooden floor it hurts so much but I finally got it out to really leave you guys okay we have the garlic here I need to put that in my garlic pressor honestly I love cooking so freaking much so I’m going to get out my garlic press right here and put my little garlic in here what I’m going to do is uh that’s a bit messy that is a bit messy okay I think this might be good so I’m going to take my pan this pan is so worn out but I need to get a new one but I haven’t gotten around to it I will at some point also if you have any recommendations on good pants to buy please let me know down in the comments because I feel like I have been using these pants for maybe about a year now and I feel like they tear really easily like they wear out really fast and I want something really good but that is also aesthetically pleasing that’s just important to me so we need our butter and don’t mind my very pregnant belly just sticking out I honestly I’ve just given up on trying to hide my stomach because whatever I wear it just finds a way to slip out anyway so it is what it is so we’re going to turn this up um doesn’t really say anything okay I’m just going to eyeball it little more and then the butter how much butter get off my spoon oh that was exactly 30 G okay oh no oh no oh no oh [Music] no I can already tell from this recipe that I’m going to get to a stage where I need to Shred the cheese and I need to make the broth and yeah I’m probably going to get a little stressed out first step is done got our garlic we got our olive oil and our butter this is what it looks like yum okay I’m going to see what my next step is supposed to be okay the next step is supposed to be adding the r R and then white wine can I add white wine do I have white wine yeah I do but can I add it I think I can because the alcohol evaporates right okay I’m going to measure the rice I need 180 g how do I even open this okay like this okay okay good the packaging on this thing is just okay there we go there we go so I have my rice I’m going to add it to the pan I must look like I am such a dummy and I have never cooked before that’s not true I actually do love cooking a lot I just have never tried making Roto before okay so I just added the rice and I think I’m supposed to stir it and just kind of fry it stir stir [Music] stir o I do not like this on B okay interesting I’ve never tried frying rice before fry for 30 seconds stiring constantly medium high heat I would say that this is medium high heat it looks completely different now is that oh help me stressful okay okay okay okay I’m going to find a white one going to put some okay I don’t know if that was supposed to happen but definitely getting some extion I feel like this would smell really good if I wasn’t pregnant it smells a lot like white wine I need more I need more okay I need more okay so I’m going to turn the heat down because I didn’t make the vegetable broth yet and I need to boil some water this is such a mess oh my God oh my God ouch I’m trying to look at the recipe here I almost dropped my camera right there I am crazy I’m going to boil this water oh no it’s stuck I feel like like this might be the most chaotic cooking video anyone has ever made well it’s set to fry the rice and I have been frying the rice for like 5 minutes now so they’re definitely fried I feel like I should have gone over to the Bolding pad now but we’ll get to that we’ll get to that woo also don’t do this at home you shouldn’t pour boiling water into a plastic bowl that is literally the stupidest thing forever this is so hot this is like um a steam for your face I feel like this recipe really requires a lot and I should have thought of that I just was too naive and I just kind of thought how hard can it be it says then you need some patience okay I think we got that add some amount of Breo and stir until absorbed continue this step until you’re running out of broth rice should be a little alting but not too hot okay I feel like I should have added more yeah I should have had more okay that might have been way too much that was not having a lot of patience oh no okay guys we’re getting somewhere I feel like it’s kind of working now also the reason I haven’t made rotto before is because my boyfriend doesn’t like Roto so I’ve never really had the right timing to try it out because I didn’t want to try it out alone but today I’m trying it out with you guys isn’t that just so exciting I can see some progress it’s pretty good we’re getting there I’m just really trying to be optimistic if you couldn’t tell a [Music] breath okay I feel like this could take a while so I’m going to get back to you guys once I’ve cooked the rice okay so I haven’t cooked the rice fully yet but it’s said to make the sauuce while making dry so I’m going to start on the sauce and honestly I’m just going to be filming on my phone from now on because I feel like it was just too stressful to set up the camera and stuff like that so if you’re curious this is what it’s looking like now okay we’re going to make the sauce I’m going to get a pan this one I’m honestly going to make the rest of this meal without the recipe because I feel like I got it I feel like I got it I’m literally acting like I’ve done this before I haven’t okay so for the sauce we need some olive oil and I want to stir the rice as well I need to not forget about the rice because I’m scared that it might get stuck to the pan okay two CL of garlic and press this with some spices I haven’t really decided on which spices to use yet it says Mediterranean spices and I don’t have that I do have Italian spices I don’t know if I can use that maybe I’m going to try going to try Italian spices I feel like I might not ever make this meal again because it has been so freaking stressful I don’t think I’m going to get better at this I feel like I would just stress myself out and cooking the rice is so time consuming I feel like I’ve been cooking the rice for the past 15 minutes which I think is pretty accurate so I don’t know this might be too complicated for my beginner cooking skills yeah oh my God okay I need to add broccoli to the salt as well honestly I didn’t even see how much broccol I’m supposed to use I’m just gonna wing it I’m just gonna kind of eyeball it because to be honest it doesn’t really look that appetizing this is what we have going on and this is the [Music] rice I’m going to try to put you guys here I hope you can hear me at first I thought like the water was way too much I thought that I had way too much water but I can see now as the rice is cooking like it’s really it’s almost like tripled in size and I don’t feel like it’s too much water after all so I feel like it’s going to be pretty good I’m so excited for the end result like I don’t even crave this I I honestly don’t even know if I want to eat this when I’m done but it looks so delicious and I’ve been wanting to try the recipe for such a long time now so yeah we’re just going to we’re going to try it out I don’t know if you can tell but the rice is pretty much BR honestly ever since I’ve gotten pregnant I’m not really able to stand up for as long as I was when I wasn’t pregnant so basically this is me most of the time I just sit on a chair and cook and it’s such a good hack because I don’t don’t feel busy I just feel relaxed I don’t know if I should add more water to this or if it’s good and this is what the sauce is looking like so not [Music] great [Music] like maybe I should add a good bit more water maybe it’s good and now we can focus on the sauce as you can tell spinach has gotten a little softer okay this is like a healthier version of heavy cream that’s why it looks really weird and yeah I think I’m just supposed to like kind of cook this together and then I need to blend it and then put it in the rice oh and then we just need some cheese and then we’re done okay so now now it’s time to blend the sauce I don’t really know how I get this in here we’re going to try yeah I feel like this is going to go so freaking bad yeah I feel like I messed up this recipe so many times that it probably can’t be too good but then again I feel like it looks okay so or maybe I’m [Music] not totally lost can I do this yeah there we go maybe I should just have done this from the beginning yeah we got it cooking at dinner in itself can be pretty stressful but having to set up the camera as well let’s blend this bad boy [Music] [Music] now for the final step we’re going to mix the sauce into the rice okay it said in the recipe that it should look like matcha and it does so that’s good I’m just kind of turn this around um this just looks like puke I feel like this is also so much sauce for so little rice um I don’t know you guys oh and it said also it said to add half of the cheese I’m going to add half of that okay it doesn’t look too great I’m going to taste it with salt and pepper and then going to get back to you guys oh my God you guys it’s so good literally so freaking good I am going to make this again so freaking good M really good try this you guys try it I’m going to
