Has anyone ever seen this? Iv of course seen mildew from humid storing temperatures but I’ve never opened a bottle with mold throughout the creases in the cork.

I have! But it was on a bottle that had mold on the foil and top of cork already as well. So I expected it. But if the bottle was otherwise clean I guess you just caught it at the right time
