Now I’ve got grilling fever. Any recommendations for a beginner?

Yes. Go back in time and season those grates before grilling anything.

congrats, 2 tips: keep your steelbrush close and when you turn your food around on a different spot like you have, clean the grill. When you are done grilling, the meat needs to rest, so you have 5 min te clean the rest of the grill. This was you never have to work hard. Also after grilling while its still hot, once a month put some flaxseed oil on the grill with a silicon brush, no rust guaranteed (thin layer of oil!)
