First thing to know if this is right for you is to to ask yourself what are you grilling/ planning to make

Assuming the electronics are fully working, yeah, it’s worth it.
Just know that if you use this more as a grill than a smoker, it will give off much more of a “smoked” taste than even a charcoal grill. You can determine if that’s a good or bad thing. I found that a little weird the first time I grilled hot dogs on it. It ended up being just a smoker for me. I also already had a Weber Kettle.

I paid 10 times that when it was new

If it works then yes. But there’s a decent amount of electronic stuff for a smoker like that.

If it works, it’s definitely worth it. It’s my most used grill and smokes great compared to a pellet girl.

If you wanna smoke, get it. If you wanna grill, don’t. Pellet grills never get hot enough for me.
