Buddy went to Korea and brought me back some random foods. However, I have no idea what to do with these? Do I treat it as a banchan, or top rice with it, or what?

Just eat it; on the side, on top, by itself, however you want.

Yes, banchan.

I’d eat it over rice or by itself. Yum

Oh man. I make spicy sweet dried squid banchan and then the tiny anchovy and peanut banchan all the time. Legitimately some of my favorite food of all time.
Like others said, perfect just with rice as part of a meal. I also like to heat up the anchovies sometimes, like them warm too.
Great snack with soju!

This obviously doesn’t need to be refrigerated so the contents are dry, right? If served as banchan do they need to be rehydrated? They seem like a nice crunchy salty snack. I’m especially interested in the one with nuts (peanuts?). Good luck and report back (please) after you eat these.

With your hands!!! Or you can be a “civilized” person and eat them with chopsticks or a fork.

With your fingers or with rice.
