The egg ceramic is porous, and over a few weeks/months/years of enthusiastic grilling, the creosote & grease will leech through the ceramic as it expands. It’s nothing bad, or anything to worry about. Use a damp paper towel or some soft cleaning spray (I use Simple Green, BGE sells their own stuff) and it will come right off. Prob did a ‘high’ temp cook after many lower cooks and it sweated out the grease and moisture in the pores. Super normal just wipe it off with a damp towel next time you heat the egg up
