I did this same thing last night lol. I stuck the snapped off stem in some water to root. Now the other stem is the main one π

Let a sucker grow out to become your new main stem.

Itβs still early for perennials to grow big fruits. Considering, itβs advantageous to get rid of the early blooms because it redirects energy up. When the days begin to shorten is when you will get best and biggest fruits to harvest. Generally a priority will be protecting them until then. Look into some treatment options. Order some lady bugs and praying mantis to let add to garden, thereβs also plant species that attract these soldier bugs. Some herbs varieties also help and so damn good. Happy veggie season, wishing you a bountiful season π€
Tomatoes don’t care, they’ll just keep on tomatoing… Choose a new main leader and carry on tomatoing

You can use Black electrical tape to them back together

It should be fine–the rest of the plant looks healthy.
I have to ask though, what did you use for your mulch in those buckets?

Let a sucker take it’s place and you’re all set.

My tomatoes got chewed down to no leaves by a possum when I accidentally left their trays outside. It has set them back time wise (thankfully I donβt get frosts) but they have recovered. There were some I was sure didnβt have enough plant left to reshoot but somehow they managed to push new leaves out and off they go.

This will only delay growth by about a week or two. This is a common thing people intentionally do to certain plants in order to create 2+ leaders.
