Got a couple of rocoto pepper pods last year September. I ate the peppers but saved seeds and proceeded to plant roughly 30 seeds.
7 months later I have 5 plants and the one I transplanted is the healthiest and first to grow fruit….
I'm excited and happy but having grown hot peppers for almost 10 years the rocotos were the hardest with least results

Hi, I’m a new pepper grower, I’m growing rocoto peppers and yellow aji pepper. What makes growing rocoto peppers so hard? Is there any tip or piece of advice you can give me? I have 2 adult plants that tried to give fruit but they dropped them bc of nutrient deficiency. Currently I also have 3 seedlings with 1 week old
