hi guys and welcome back to my channel have you ever been to a restaurant and you wanted to order one of those fun appetizers like a blooming onion or mozzarella sticks or even you thought i’m going to be healthy i’m going to get zucchini sticks and then they started putting the calories on the menu and it’s like 700 calories for some zucchini sticks and you’re like that’s no fun well today i’m going to be making them a lot more healthy in the air fryer they’re super quick and easy to make and they’re super crunchy so let’s get cooking [Music] so here are the ingredients that we’re going to need you’re going to need one large zucchini cut in quarter inch slices one cup of dried bread crumbs i’m using panko but you can just use regular ones and one third cup of freshly grated parmesan cheese and you’re going to mix those together a half a cup of flour and you’re gonna mix that with a half a cup of any of your favorite seasoning salt today i’m using uncle steve’s and then we’re gonna whisk two eggs together in a bowl and now once we have all our little stations set up we’re gonna start with our flour and dip our zucchini slice in there and just tap off any excess and then dip it in our egg and then into our breadcrumb mixture and make sure it’s nice and coated we don’t want any wet spots so it looks like that and then just put these on a clean plate and just do the same thing with each slice and i’ll be back when they’re all finished okay guys with the proportions i gave you you should get about 24 slices and this is how they should look so now we’re gonna go put them in our airfryer basket so i put these on my airfryer basket and you’re definitely gonna have to do these in two batches and then what you’re gonna do is you’re gonna spray them with some olive oil spray or whatever kind you happen to have just give them a light spray and then we’re gonna preheat our air fryer to 375 degrees and we’re going to bake these for 10 minutes and we’re going to flip them halfway through so i’ll be back so it’s been 5 minutes and now i’m going to flip them over and then what you want to do is spray the other side and we’ll be back so here they are our crispy crunchy air fried zucchini chips don’t they look awesome they’re golden brown oops super crunchy you can dip them in ranch or whatever your favorite dip is i’m going to give them a try for you guys heard that crunch they’re super tender on the inside you get that nice little bite of cheesiness from the parmesan and they are way less calories than if you deep fry them so i hope you guys are gonna give these a try please give me a thumbs up if you haven’t subscribed yet i sure would appreciate it and we will see you guys on the next episode bye everybody

  7. I just bought my first air fryer and this recipe is the first thing I'm going to make. Looks great. Thanks for the video. (Happy to give you the 100th like!)

  8. I used to do the flour and egg coating for breaded pork chops. From a panko breaded chicken recipe, I learned a "shortcut". Using a basting brush, paint them lightly with mayo and then dip in the breadcrumbs. This is great if you are out of eggs and it just feels less messyβ€”and only one ingredient instead of two (flour and egg). You can also use olive oil based mayo for a healthier choice.

  9. Alright, this is third Air fry Zucchini recipe. My name is Steve and I was sold as soon as you showed the Uncle Steve's season. Thanks for the recipe. And yes I am an Uncle. Steve.

  10. Isn't half a cup of salt too much, kinda defeats the purpose of eating healthier than a restaurant πŸ€”πŸ€”πŸ€”πŸ€”

  11. What about draining the water from the zucchini first…. I was wondering if you did that first ? ?
