I have gotten into the habit of leaving my castiron in the oven at 400 then pulling it out and cooking meats on full blast on the stove.

Ribeye, avocado oil, garlic, rosemary, thyme, butter. Freakin delicious.

First time cooking a steak since around 2019, turned out perfectly. The fire alarm was begging for a bite.
