hi everyone welcome to another episode of raw radiant health and uh Natasha thank you so much for joining me so today I’ve got a treat for you I’m going to be showing you my favorite green smoothie recipe now you’re probably wondering what on earth is green smoothing a green smoothie is it’s like a fruit smoothie except it’s got some greens that are slipped into it you don’t taste the grants you taste the fruit but you’re getting like serious like nutrition punch into your smoothing getting like extra vitamins and extra minerals and antioxidants and all sorts of great stuff so it’s a way of adding more greens into your day and still enjoying something that’s fruity and sweet and just like pure young so my favorite green smoothie is a mango coconut spinach green smoothie and actually it’ll be quite surprised that spinach is quite sweet that you can add into any smoothing and you don’t really taste it especially if you’re using baby spinach so I’m going to be showing you today how I prepare my green smoothie and I hope you’ll try this at home because it rocks it’s so good it’s one of my favorite favorite recipes so let’s get started and one thing I do want to point out is that this recipe has besides water it’s only got three ingredients it’s so super super simple all you need is either a knife or a peeler and a blender and for one person the ingredients is just a mango and it’s got to be a ripe mango nice and sweet the way that you can tell a mango is ripe is its soft like you can squish it and and sometimes it almost feels like the skin is starting to get a little bit sort of wrinkly not you don’t want it like too wrinkly and like too dried out but you want to feel like it’s about to to sort of separate from the body of the fruit then you’ll need 1 cup of baby spinach yummy baby organic spinach and then a small teaspoon organic coconut oil cold-pressed this stuff is young and to make sure it’s good coconut oil it must be scented you must be able to smell that wonderful aroma because it’s delish and then you’ll need a half a cup of water and your blender first I’m going to show you how to peel the mango you can either peel it with a knife or peel it with the peel in i’ll show you both ways just in case you want to see and you don’t know so here’s how you peel a mango with the peeler using a peeler is great because it actually just takes off the peel of the mango and you’re not losing like any any flesh now to peel the mango with a knife it’s good it’s not as good as the peeler because the peeler really does do a very like thin thin peel but if you just have a knife then it’s perfectly all right so and then what you’re going to do is you’re going to cut pieces of the mango off and you’re going to put it into your blender easy simple anyone can do this and super super quick I’m saying I think making a smoothie takes including like washing the blender I’m sure it takes about less than five minutes let’s say like a good three minutes so if something you can do in the rush especially like first thing in the morning if you got to run out of the house get to work you can make yourself green smoothie that’s going to be just fantastic for the day now I’m going to add the rest of the water all the green spinach and coconut oil now as you notice the coconut oil is solid but once it starts lending gets whipped up that it actually liquifies so no worries with that so turn onto the and here you go so here we got our green smoothie we’re going to pour it into gloss and here we go mmm this is so good this is pure young how i can describe how this tastes it tastes like mango fused with like aroma of coconut it’s beautiful you do not taste any of the spinach even though it’s got the green glow it’s it’s pure fruit so I hope you enjoy I hope you go and try this out because it is so good and I recommend to if it’s if it’s a warm hot day you can use like you can cut up your mango and put it in the fridge or you can pin the freezer for a bit and then put it in your spinning right now I’m in candidates it’s still a little bit cold here so not using any frozen fruit just yet but do you try this out and do let me know and if you want the the ingredients you can always go to my blog at wwlp.com / blog and the recipe will be posted tonight and if you want to make a larger quantity which i totally recommend doing which if you do like quadruple this you can have it for your afternoon meal and in the pure young pure nutrition it’s all good so have a fabulous fabulous day and I will see you tomorrow fine

~* I just started adding some greens to my morning fruit smoothie 4 days ago ~two leaves of red swiss chard. I'll definitely be adding some spinach to up the greens quotient and i'm so curious to see what it tastes like. The chard ~it has a flavour 🙂 However, i actually started to rather like it by day 3. My taste buds are definitely evolving!!
Swiss chard is definitely strong!! Spinach is super mild, sweet even, perfect for any smoothie and you won't taste it!!! kale is also good too!

The vast majority of calories in that smoothie comes from fat.
@LoveSaraJade It´s all good, but I would consider it more of a premium smoothie.

by the way, consider saving some time and leaving the mango skin on. It tastes fine, and is not tough. I always just chew it up when eating mangos. As always, many minerals and vitamins are found in the skin
Could you use Papaya instead of Mango?
hmm…looks yummy. I love mangoes, spinach and coconut oil , and together this must taste really good.
I'm just wondering, what do you do if you go out with people for dinner or something? Do you not eat or if you do, how do you figure out what to order without breaking the raw diet?
This is amazing! Thanks so much for this recipe – I'm really glad I found your channel. I made the smoothie this morning and it was so hard how to describe to friends how much I loved it. Super super yummy. I did not taste the spinach at all. I used frozen mango chunks from Trader Joe's which I thawed in some water before hand. 🙂
