This shop used to offer shrimp oil tonkatsu. However, the assistant cook recently got pregnant, and to maintain quality, they have closed part of the seating area so the chef won’t get too busy. Additionally, they are unable to prepare as much tonkatsu soup base, so they have switched to shrimp shoyu ramen. I think this is an improvement because it is not as salty as before, and the shrimp flavor doesn’t have to compete with the strong tonkatsu.

I love the way the broth looks, it seems to have a good flavor.
