It’s a Tank

So I've had this thing for just shy of ten years. I use it a lot. Like a lot. I don't take care of it at all. Nothing. Never changed the gasket. Still has the stock thermometer. I really don't think I've ever seen her empty since the first day I got her. She just sits there, patiently braving the elements, always ready to serve.

And despite that, she performs flawlessly. Every single time. Without fail. I can get her to hold 400° for 90 minutes or 200° for four hours. She bakes biscuits as well as she roasts a Prime Rib and everything in between.

I'd like to get a new one mind you, since she looks a little rough. But it's hard to justify. I'm genuinely curious as to how long these things last?!
