I just started making my own ajitsuke tamago. At first I was cutting them in half. While it looks better visually, it is so much easier to eat them whole! It makes a perfect cup that holds the yolky goodness. I’m a convert.
Speaking of visuals, the chili sauce came out super clumpy 🤷🏻♀️
I added bamboo shoots and homemade eggs to Nongshim tonkotsu.
