Bought this in Mexico. I’ve been grinding rice 3 times now and still get some grits. It smell like something’s burning or like a match stick when I grind it. Thanks for the advice.

Another trick I saw that worked for the fake one my MIL got me was to heat up some vinegar in the microwave (not boiling, just hot) and put it in the molcajete. If it bubbles then it’s 100% fake.
