Glazed Pumpkin Bread Double Stop Bake Shop Makes one loaf Or one dozen muffins Brown three quarters cup butter. Set aside. One and one half cups flour (one hundred eighty grams) Two and one half teaspoons pumpkin pie spice. One teaspoon baking powder. One teaspoon baking soda. One half heaping teaspoon salt. One half cup sugar, and one half cup brown sugar. Add the browned butter. One cup pumpkin puree. Two eggs, lightly beaten. Add the dry ingrediants. Line a standard size loaf pan with parchment paper. Lightly spray or butter the parchment, or butter and flour the pan to prevent sticking. Bake in preheated three hundred fifty degree oven for about forty eight minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean. All ovens are different, so baking times can vary. Allow to cool thirty minutes, then make the glaze. Vanilla Glaze One and three quarters cup powdered sugar. Two tablespoons melted butter. One teaspoon vanilla Two tablespoons half and half (or milk). Check description for all of my favorite kitchen items! It’s almost time to try a slice!
