Somewhere in the 1990s, Pizza Hut sold a stuffed crust pizza, where the crust was stuffed with cheese. The problem is when the cheese in the crust cooled, you were left with a rubbery, chewy, not to pleasurable to consume, big chunk of bread-covered cheese.
So rather than fix the problem, Pizza Hut ran a big national advertising campaign to teach its customers to eat the pizza crust-first.
