I made a Cleveland Cassata Cake for two friends’ birthdays. Italian sponge layered with Crème Patisserie and macerated strawberries, frosted with fresh whipped cream.

I may have over whipped the frosting as it looks a bit grainy. But it tasted great and had a smooth mouthfeel despite the grainy appearance.
