Hi all.

A few weeks ago I saw a whole turkey leg cook made by pitmaster X YouTube channel and now the video is gone and I can't find ti anymore, must have been pulled off.

I got a 5lbs whole turkey leg that I'm going to cook tomorrow and would like suggestions on best best way to do it.

I salted it and ita going to salt bribe in the fridge overnight.
So far, I thinking about smoking it at around 265f until 165-170f internal and sear the skin quickly in the end if needed (depending on how it will look). I think around 2 hours should do the trick for this piece of meat.

Any other suggestions?

Btw, steaks are going on the KJ ina couple of hours 😃

  1. The smoked Turkey leg is the way to go. I personally would shoot for lower internal temp though. Pull at 155 and shoot for 165.
