this is how to UDA food and today we’re going to be making shrimp scampy the complete recipe is in the description below so let’s get started what you need for this recipe is any type of pasta that you would like today I’m going to be using angel hair also you need about two cloves of garlic a lemon flat leaf parsley hot pepper crushed red pepp pepper salt butter white wine olive oil and some raw shrimp I suggest using raw shrimp because if it’s already cooked it doesn’t have as much flavor okay so the first thing we’re going to do is I already have the water boiling on the stove I’m going to salt that water so that it it’s flavored for the pasta I’m going to add the pasta in about a half a pound of shrimp so I’m going to put a half a pound of pasta in the pasta takes about four or five minutes to cook so while this is cooking we’re going to fry up the shrimp okay so I like using cast iron frying pans which you’re going to learn as you watch my channel so I have a cast iron frying pan here and I’m I’ve heated it up and I’m going to use some olive oil and some butter because then the butter doesn’t burn as readily so I’m going to put about 2 tablespoons of the olive oil in and then I’m going to put about the same amount of butter so what we’re going to do first is we’re going to fry up the garlic and put a little bit of the hot pepper in along with it okay so now you see that the garlic and I put a little bit of hot pepper which you don’t need to put in if you don’t want to but I like it spicy so the garlic got a good Brown like a light brown color to it so now we’re going to put in the shrimp now I’ve taken the tails off of the shrimp just because I I don’t like picking them out after but if you want it to look fancier you can keep the tails on so these are I bought them already shells you know like Peels and then I also took the tails off all right so right now they’re going to get cooking on one side I just flattened everything out we’re going to put a little bit of salt on here and let them cook for a few minutes so I’ve strained the macaroni because it it only took four or five minutes since it’s angel hair so I’m just going to keep that aside and then I’m going to show you that see how it’s getting pink around the edges that’s when you want to turn it so see how it’s getting crispy like a little bit Brown on this you’re going to see the color come out out you just turn everything it’s only one flip you don’t have to do too much to this it’s a really fast dish easy to make when you’re working all day you come home and you’re hungry okay so we’re going to let that cook for another minute or two okay so I just put a little a little Pat of butter in here because I don’t want it to stick while we’re waiting for everything to cook and I’m just going to move it around in the angel here so I did put a little bit of butter in there just so that it doesn’t stick you could also put a little bit of olive oil what I’m doing next is I’ve just cut the lemon in half and we’re going to use this juicer and we’re going to put both halves of the lemon in here you can use lemon juice if you don’t have a whole lemon like I do there’s one there’s the other um we’re also going to put a little bit of wine in here about a quarter of a cup maybe even a little less really just a little splash of it nothing too crazy maybe it was even less than that if you’re using a whole pound of shrimp I would do a little bit more and you’re going to cook that off a little bit the last thing we’re going to do is just cut this parsley up a little bit maybe I have about two tablespoons of parsley all right so I put wine in there but if you don’t want to put wine in you can also do chicken broth in here which flavors it very well too so that’s something you can try so at this point I would say that they’re done and I’m going to put the macaroni in toss it around in there and once I do that then we’re going to put the parsley on top and it’s all done it’s such a fast dinner it’s very easy and another thing is that if you want if you think that it might be a little bit dry you can always add a little bit of the water from when you made the spaghetti that’s another thing that you can do so see it it looks really great but there’s no color to it so when you add the parsley is when it gets that nice color and the parsley really helps it to look a little bit better and of course it gives it a great flavor okay so this is it the shrimp scampy hopefully you found it pretty easy to follow it only takes minutes it’s very quick and with the angel hair literally took about 5 to seven minutes total to put it all together and I want to tell you that this is Schultz and D these two guys are mascots of the UDA club brewery that’s in UA thanks for watching and give me a like if you like the recipe and leave some comments for me thank you
