It’s the first time I’ve ever bought any kind of grill or smoker. The phrase built like a tank gets tossed around, but this thing is heavy. I’m in a wheelchair and had to get a heavy duty grabber so I can work the lid. So what do people normally do for a first cook? I was thinking something cheap so I don’t mess it up.

Pork shoulder is cheap and pretty forgiving.
Nice unit! I’m considering one myself.
My first cook were ribs and they were shit lol
Friend told me to do a tri-tip. Super easy! Rubbed tri-tip in the smoker for about 90 min at 225 or until it reaches 130-135 deg internal. Pull off and let rest. Slice against the grain and enjoy. I like mine the best day cold with Chimichurry sauce.
