Really hoping to get some feedback on what r/FoodToronto would want to see at a Sip & Snack fest.
For a bit of background (I'll keep it quick), my life-partner Evelyn Chick, is a huge advocate for the culinary/ drinks community, and currently self-owns a 2-concept restaurant called Simpl Things, and as well a pop-up event space called Ahma, both in Parkdale, and both dedicated towards supporting and incubating Chefs who want to try their fit, but sometimes don't have the capital to invest in their own brick and mortar space.
She's always wanted to curate a food festival that encapsulates diverse foods from Local, BIPOC & Female owned Small Businesses, and as well something that offers delicious cocktails, craft beer and natural wine purveyors… so we decided to launch an event this July called FEASTIE Sip & Snack fest, which will be hosted at Hendersons 18,000 sq ft. Event Space (128A Sterling Road, Toronto) and will be both outdoors and indoors, with a goal of showcasing ~50 vendors.
We've got quite a few vendors locked in currently, and I'll share that below, but would love to know what this community would like to see in terms of a Food and Drink festival, whether it be about the vendors or experiences, we're all ears. (Also, this will be a dog-friendly event with a few dedicated dog vendors curated by Toronto Dog Moms, who are serving dog friendly snack and drinks!)
