I followed Smoking Dad BBQ’s cooking method; 2 hours on the grate followed by 1 hour in a foil boat at 300F. Came out good, just a little dry on the ends. Thinking cook time was a little too long and/or maybe I’d get better results doing 275F instead. I put one medium sized chunk of apple wood in with the lump at the start and thought the flavor was pretty good. Impressive how stable the temperature is once you get it set. Ready to try a longer cook like pork shoulder next.

How did you prepare them? Rub? Just curious what the flavor’s gonna be.
