Recently tried Dunsmoor’s burger. Only 20 per night, served at the bar and available with a Beaujolais pairing. It was very good, on the level of my favorite thick burgers. The fries were perfectly cooked but incredibly salty. They went well with the rich burger, but a bit much to have on their own. I’ll definitely go again.

Never knew they had a burger until now do you mind sharing a little more details on the burger? From what i can see it’s patty, cheese, raw onion, and caramelized onion. Anything special about the patty like the type of meat they use? Curious about the price as well.

  2. Holy shit. I wish I’d seen that about 4 hours ago.

Looks like they only make 20 fries per night as well.

Did you have to make a reservation for the burger or just show up early?

I ate at Dunsmoor for the first time several weeks ago after hearing lots of great things. Though I didn’t have the burger, we ate roughly half the menu, and I and the others in my party were generally underwhelmed. Though it was by no standard metric a bad meal, I thought it was astonishingly mediocre for the prices with really one-note flavors in each dish, and the carolina golden rice was significantly oversalted, to-the-point that we all basically each only took two bites of it.

Honestly I hate these burgers where they are too tall, and taste bland. Smash burgers all the way!

wow that looks amazing, if you haven’t had the Horses burger yet, it looks similar and might be good to compare.

I’m a vegetarian so don’t care about the burger… but those fries caught my attention
